Salmon steak with red lentils and pomegranate seeds

Fish dishes in menu should be at least two times per weak. We try to follow this suggestion. So there is salmon soup recipe. And one more fish dish for my blog readers. Cooking takes ~ 45min, it is very easy for everyone.
We use lentils, but if you have any reservations, rise or potatos can be used. Lentils contain a lot of protein and carbohydrates, so you will feel satiety for a long time after meal. Preparing of lentils take a quite short time and it could diversify your everyday menu. You should try lentils at least once :)

Necessary components -
  • salmon or trout steak 
  • lemonpaper, salt, leek
  • cream (3 spoons)
  • pomergranate 
  • sweet pepper
  • red lentils

Put salmon steak in high pan, that sweet pepper cutted in a great pieces. Add all spices (also can use  garlic, lemon or lime, rosemary etc). Mixing cream with water and pour over the steak. Cooking takes ~15minutes.
Red lentils before cooking should be soak in a water (~1 hours or more). Lentils boil 10min or less (depends of soaking time). Arrange in a plate lentils, add them pomegranate seeds. And salmon steak.

  1. Mmm, siekalas tek skatoties tik skaistas bildes. :)
    Manās mājās bērns neēd zivis, bet vīrs neēd lēcas. Gaidīšu kad beigsies brīvdienas un visi būs skolās, dārziņos un darbos un gatavošu sev vienai kā karalienei! :D

  2. granātābols tiešām piešķir baigi interesanto garšu lēcām! Tādu skābumiņu un kādā žurnālā atradu, ja lēcas pūš punci, tad tās iepriekš jāizmērcē ūdenī!
